2007 IDEA WORLD FITNESS CONVENTION

The 2007 IDEA World Fitness Convention will be held in San Diego, CA. July 5-9 and promises to be a memorable event as IDEA celebrates their 25 th anniversary! My suggestion is: Don't miss it!

FIT-FOR-ME FOUNDATION

As a member of the Education/Scholarship committee for the Fit-For-Me Foundation based in Houston, Texas, I encourage you all to take a look at what the foundation is doing to make fitness education available for everyone. GLOBAL SCENE: FITNESS CONVENTIONS IN ISRAEL AND TAIWAN

I had 2 fantastic trips in January and February. I went to Tel Aviv to present at the Aerobithon, a 2-day event that was full of great classes, talented presenters, welcoming participants, and lots of energy! It was my first trip to Israel, and thanks to Racheli and her team, it was a truly memorable one! I also went to Jerusalem to teach a few classes and it was AMAZING! So much history, and I had a first-hand view into what a unique place it is, with Jews, Christians, Muslims and Armenians all living side by side. At the end of January I traveled to Taiwan for the 7th time to present at the AFHA International Health Promotion & Aerobic Convention. The event was a great success (as it is every year), and my host, Cillia Chiang was as generous as always. This year I also taught at the Pre-convention for Personal trainers.
