Hello everyone!
Here is wishing all of you a fantastic New Year 2011, full of adventure, good health, success and prosperity! We all seem to say the same thing… ‘Where did the past year go? I can’t believe that it’s already the New Year!’. But when I reflect on the past year, I realize that it was filled with a variety of activities, numerous accomplishments, and a lot of fun! I certainly hope that this was the same for you!

2010 was a busy year, with a lot of travel (one of my favorite things to do). 65 flights during the year, but I survived the screening processes at the airports, and renewed my platinum status on Air France (when you fly this much, every little perk counts!) I had the opportunity to discover a few countries for the first time, and re-visit others where I had previously been. I presented at a variety of conferences and conventions, and conducted training several times for TRX and BOSU. I had several articles published this year, and was quoted in the media numerous times on subjects ranging from Generational Issues in the Workplace, to Fitness in France! You can find many of these on my ‘In the News’ page. I also worked on some fun projects evaluating new fitness equipment and programs, reviewing manuscripts for fitness publications, and helping to translate manuals from English to French. I continued in my role as an advisory board member for several companies, as well as serving on several committees for top fitness organizations. All of this kept me quite busy, but I continued to teach 2 group exercise classes each week, and work with a few personal training clients (whose schedules are as crazy as mine! Thank you!)

It looks like 2011 is going to be a busy and exciting year, and I’m looking forward to working with, and seeing many of you during the year.  Below you’ll find my presentation proposals for 2011. I’ve added some new programs, lectures, and classes so take a look and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

I’m also excited about several new projects that I’ll be working on this year, including one in particular: Batuka. I have been asked to help with the launch of Batuka in North America, and will be an integral part of organizing Batuka’s presence at the IHRSA International Convention & Trade Show in San Francisco. Make sure that you stop by the booth, as this is something that you will not want to miss! You can find out more about Batuka here.

Since I had so many great experiences this year, I‘ve put together a small photo album with highlights from all of my travels to share with you. Click here to view the photos, which include trips to Canada, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, India, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and USA!

As always, please let me know if you are ever planning a trip to Paris. I always enjoy meeting up with friends and colleagues in my adopted city!

Have fun in the coming year and please stay in touch.
I hope that you enjoy the news and photos.

Fred

2010: THE YEAR IN PHOTOS

Last year had me traveling to teach and evaluate Trainers for TRX in Iceland, Hungary and Switzerland, present BOSU at the Reebok Resolution in New Delhi, India and at the BOSU European Convention in Holland, as well as conduct a Gliding workshop in Slovenia.
I taught at the YMCA Instructor Retreat in Calgary, Canada, where I also gave the closing keynote, and presented at conventions in Spain, Holland and the UK. I was back in the USA quite often during the year, and presented at the IHRSA Convention, the ACSM Health and Fitness Summit, Club Industry, SCW Mania, Athletic Business and Medical Fitness Association.
And, amongst many notable encounters, I had the extreme pleasure of meeting the Surgeon General of the United States at the IDEA World Convention in Los Angeles.
